I have been to Ossining Physical Therapy for nearly 10 years now and I have nothing but great things to say. First and foremost, it is a family owned business. This family treats you with the upmost respect and kindness. Whether it is Ayam or Shelby, they are both extremely attentive with the any issue at hand. It can be anything such as recovery from an injury, to stretches, or strength exercises. I highly recommend this practice to anyone in need of physical therapy. You will definitely receive the right care.

I had been suffering from SEVERE PAIN in my right leg - going up from my knee to my hip and then across my lower back. My doctor prescribed physical therapy and I then started going to Ossining Physical Therapy. After a session or two the pain started to subside and then continued decreasing. After two more sessions the pain was COMPLETELY GONE. I continued the physical therapy to further enhance the muscle development that was taking place and hopefully the pain will never return.

Ossining Physical Therapy provides superb service. My Physical Therapist, Dr. Ayam De Leon is professional, effective and knowledgeable. I have seen remarkable improvement with my knee pain over the last few months. I have been treated with respect, courtesy and care, by everyone I have encountered at Ossining Physical Therapy. Ayam is the best physical therapist I have ever gone to. I had sciatica 13 years ago, and now a ‘new presentation’ of it appeared ~7 months ago, at which time I started PT again at a new place. Over the past 13 years I have included many exercises, strength training, and indoor & outdoor sports activities in my daily routines, so I’m not a newcomer to physical therapy exercises and procedures. However, on day 1 with Dr. Ayam, just about one month ago now, I was blown away by how he helped me right away - he found and massaged away a knot in one of my gluteus muscles. I’ve been feeling steadily better, with ensuing sessions, where we’ve gone over all my exercises, discussing their applicability (or non-applicability) to my current situation, showing me new good ones, discerning between exercises and stretches, the correct way to do them all, and explaining so I can understand how these things work. Ayam is very kind, thoughtful, generous, patient, and sincerely helping me to get better. He’s the best! ( - ‘forget the rest’! ;) Also, being a patient in such a conscientious family-owned and operated business like this one is a breath of fresh air - you’re not just a cog in a wheel. Finally, a special shout-out for Paulo, who’s very friendly and helpful with all the logistics! I’m so glad I found Ossining PT!

Ayam is an outstanding physical therapist. I started seeing him about 6 weeks prior to my total knee replacement and then 3 months after. He is extremely knowledgeable and did a great job explaining to me what to expect and the rationale for is treatments. Above all, the results are great. I felt well prepared prior to surgery and I'm very happy with my recovery after surgery. Realistically, TKR is not not a walk in the park. But Ayam was instrumental in prepping me for the operation and accelerating my recovery. I strongly suggest that you forgo in home PT following surgery as long as someone can get you to Ayam. There's no comparison in the quality of service.

Ayam, Paulo and the rest of the staff are wonderful. They provide a warm and friendly environment; but most importantly is the outstanding treatment I have received. I can’t say enough good words about the care and therapy I have received from Ossining Physical Therapy. Ayam and Shelby are the most professional, knowledgeable and compassionate therapists. My knee replacement therapy progressed perfectly as well as my ankle therapy. This is superb individualized care. I am so grateful for their services!

Extremely helpful. You work completely one-on-one with Dr Ayam, who is kind, knowledgeable, and skilled. He makes sure he knows what specifically is going on with your body, helps you understand it, and develops a plan of care that’s tailor-made for you. Very highly recommend.

Ayam is exceptional. He is a balance to the Corporate PT model which has taken over the medical landscape. From the onset, his initial assessments are thorough, his knowledge of muscular and skeletal systems are more than adequate, and his problem solving ability is based on years of patient-centered care. This is one of the best physical therapy places I have ever been too. My balance is so much better. I am walking better and my legs are stronger. My physical therapy consisted of me using my leg muscles and using weights to help strengthen them. Great group of people working there. They really help to fit you into a schedule.
